SEMANA SANTA Iztapalapa

The sound of heavy wooden crosses being dragged over brick pierce the morning on the streets of Iztapalapa on Good Friday as the faithful make their urban pilgrimage. The faithful reenact the Passion of the Christ and gather in prayer each year in continuance of a long-held tradition.
